Children aged 6 and up can join an adult for a session of guided meditation and rock painting at the Alton Branch in Burlington. This program focuses on relaxation and creative expression through nature-inspired art.
You can practice mindfulness through guided meditation before decorating a rock with paint to reflect your imagination and the stone's natural shape.
- Children aged six and older require an adult to stay with them for the whole session.
- You are welcome to bring your own rock or use one provided by the Burlington Public Library.
- This 100 Seeds of Joy initiative is presented in partnership with Halton Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network.
- Please register early if you require accessibility accommodations so arrangements can be confirmed before you arrive.
