Where can I find free events in Burlington?

Free events in Burlington come mostly from the library, the waterfront and the city itself. Burlington Public Library runs no-cost programs most days - storytimes, crafts, teen workshops, author talks and MakerSpace sessions - at Central Branch, Brant Hills and its other branches. Spencer Smith Park on the downtown waterfront is free to visit and hosts large summer gatherings, including the Sound of Music Festival, along with the Brant Street Pier. Burlington Downtown lists street events and seasonal activities, and the City of Burlington publishes community celebrations through the year. Some free library programs still ask you to register because space is limited. Select the 'Free Events' filter at the top of this page to see every no-cost Burlington listing, each checked against the organizer's own posting. New events arrive as organizers publish them, so check back before the weekend.
